CSO in the Community
The CSO is currently partnered with a number of statewide organizations to meet our mission of bilding a stronger sports and fitness community.
CSO Community Partners:
Fit4Colorado (CBS Channel 4)
Fit 4 Colorado is a statewide educational initiative to improve the health and well-being of Coloradans through free educational information and on-line resources. Each month, CBS4 partners with a different city to host a Community Walk. In 2012, CBS and the CSO have teamed up to turn three of these walks into a full expo encouraging residents in those communities to stay active through a regimen of sports, fitness and health & wellness opportunities. CSO members can get involved!
Colorado Governor’s Council For Physical Fitness
The CSO has developed a unique relationship with the CGCFPF. The goal is to build a cohesive and productive community that will promote fitness opportunities and events throughout Colorado. All members of the CSO will also receive a significantly discounted affiliate membership with the Council allowing your organization an opportunity to be involved in CGCFPF community as well as their events!
Special Olympics Colorado
In an effort to maintain a strong orientation towards “building a stronger sports and fitness community” the CSO has partnered with Special Olympics Colorado. This is a fantastic opportunity that will allow the CSO to help build the programs SOCO offers through partnership, fundraising and donation. If you would like to help, let us know!
Mile High Sports Radio & Magazine 93.7FM/AM1510
The CSO and MHS will be entering into a joint venture to bring Colorado athletes the best sports and fitness information from in and around the Denver Metro area through radio, print and web. They are a huge promotional component of the new Colorado Sports and Fitness Guide. Through this partnership our members also have the ability to be in the magazine and on the radio for a fraction of the cost.
The CSO has also partnered with a number of other programs and non-profits in the community to continue our mission of building a stronger sports and fitness community.
• Kids Running America • The Colorado Adaptive Sports Foundation • Get Fit - Get Rewarded Fitness Program • GoMileHigh.com - Internet Sports Radio for the Active Colorado Lifestyle • Colorado Tees & 5280 Agency
The Colorado Sports Organization is currently looking for more locally based, sports and fitness based organizations throughout the state who share the same goal of building a stronger Colorado sports and fitness community. If you or your organization would like to discuss what we can do together, please contact Justin directly at justin.eberle@colosports.org.
