Community Involvement

One of our main goals with the Colorado Sports Organization is to maintain a strong orientation towards giving back to the Colorado sports community. As an organization dedicated to offering all athletes an opportunity, we pledge to donate a percentage of all memberships towards our partnered non-profit organizations and youth sports scholarships (see below).

Another aspect of the Colorado Sports Organization is to “adopt” different charities throughout the year and partner with them to run special events with proceeds going to that “adopted” charity. There are many other ways to build towards our goal of a strong Colorado sports community - donations, fundraisers, etc. We are open to all ideas, and would love to hear from you. We are currently working with others on event co-sponsorships that benefit the Colorado Sports community.

Sports For A Cause

Sports For A Cause is a local sports non-profit here in Denver. They are dedicated to providing athletic opportunities for youth, which currently do not exist in certain neighborhoods, or are in great need. The Colorado Sports Organization has chosen SFAC as our preferred sports non-profit because we share the same goals of giving back and building a stronger Colorado sports community.

We are currently working closely with SFAC on numerous projects to benefit the Denver sports community.

This does not limit CSO from working with other non-profits, in fact, we are looking for more locally based, sports non-profits throughout the state who share the same goal of building a stronger Colorado sports community. "Walkers for Knockers" Susan G. Komen 3 Day Walk For The Cure

This year the Colorado Sports Organization is sponsoring a team for the Susan G. Komen 3 Day Walk For The Cure. Our team, "Walkers for Knockers" consists of four strong and motivated women; the team captain who walks for her teammate and sister, two proud survivors of breast cancer, and another who walks in memory of her sister, who unfortunately lost her battle.

The goal this year is to raise $20,000. Please help us achieve our team goal by donating and participating in our fundraisers.
